About Our Business
Welcome to our website. We took ownership of the motel about over three years ago and have
been working very hard to make it a great place to stay. It is a very peaceful place to stay.

We are located close to several of the area's great golf courses, lakes, fine restaurants and great
shopping. The snowmobile and ATV trail runs right by the motel. We have just recently
remodeled most of our rooms with new carpets, beds, linens, heat/ac units, etc.

So come relax and enjoy yourself in the cozy spacious atmosphere of the Edelweiss Motel and
visit the many attractions of the Hayward area...

  • The famous National Fishing Hall of Fame, The lumberjack Bowl (World
    Championships) and Wilderness Walk (animal park) are less than a mile from our motel.

  • Five miles east of us is the LCO Casino and Convention Center.

  • Several excellent golf courses are a short drive from our motel.
  • Other regional attractions include Al Capone's Hideout Museum, Historyland, antique
    shops, flea markets and many fine restaurants and stores.

  • Canoing on the Namekagon River is a popular sport and the many surrounding lakes offer
    great fishing and swimming.

  • For your wintertime enjoyments, the snowmobile trail runs along the front of the motel so
    you can just pull up and park in the front or back of your motel room. The American
    Birkebeiner cross country ski trail is only a short drive north.
  • We are conveniently located next to a mini market which offers gas, food and liquors.

Directions
From Downtown Hayward go south on Highway 27. Drive approximately a 1 1/2 miles. Turn
Left onto Park Rd. We are immediately on the right and can be seen clearly from Highway 27.
